The Artist known as "Chimere Scott"
“Chimére” Scott, singer, songwriter, and actress, is a phenomenal international entertainer. She began her musical journey in her hometown of Atlanta, Ga as a young performer. After years of honing her craft as a recording artist and songwriter she made her first mark in the industry when featured on Ludacris’ 1st major label debut, Word of Mouth, and from there went on to collaborate with several other major artists.
She has performed and recorded with a variety of artists such as Country Music Artist Lyle Lovette, Outkast, Earth, Wind & Fire as well as toured with India Arie, Soul Singer Anthony David and Sleepy Brown of Organized Noize while traveling abroad gracing stages in Sweden, Norway, Spain, Ethiopia and Kenya just to name a few. After years of honing her craft in the shadows of such wonderfully supportive artists, Chimére was encouraged to use her creative talents to establish her entertainment company Southern Chocolate, Inc., and went on to produce her debut album, “Turn Me Up.” released in 2008.
As Creative Director and Executive Producer, she wrote and arranged all of the songs, in collaboration with several phenomenal producers and musicians. As an actress some of Chimére's credits include her principle role as Lorrell Robinson in the Broadway Musical “Dream Girls” and television appearances on The OWN network’s "Greenleaf" Season 2 and 3 in which she was a featured vocalist on the Season 3 soundtrack which recently received an NAACP Image Award.
